Vacant possession of land in Cambridgeshire successfully secured

Last week our enforcement agents attended a site in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire after a Writ of Possession was issued to obtain vacant possession of the land where a number of foreign nationals had set up a camp.

Once our enforcement agents attended the site, the occupants were requested to move on – which they did peacefully.  Contractors attended the site to make good the area that had been occupied, which as the images illustrate below was filthy.

A number of hazards were identified on this eviction including broken glass all over the area plus enormous amounts of human waste.  The occupants had set up temporary toilet facilities on piles of old tyres. The area was also infested with vermin.

After a number of hours the site was handed back to the agents and contractors continued to return the site to its original condition.
