We have been made aware recently (May 2019) of unknown individuals who have been contacting companies claiming to be one of our High Court Enforcement Officers, namely Patrick Farrington, Nigel Pepper or John James.
The basis of the call is that they state that bailiffs are on their way to the address to collect monies and threaten certain actions if they do not make an instant payment by bank transfer. Often emails are sent in an attempt to confirm the authenticity giving contact details for (mainly) Northampton County Court. These calls are fraudulent, and it is strongly suggested that you report the matter to Action Fraud. Additionally, it may be beneficial to view the following web site: https://www.actionfraud.police.uk/alert/cold-calls-from-bogus-bailiffs
Should you be approached or called by these individuals it is strongly suggested that you call the Enforcement Company that they are supposed to working on behalf of.
